Where can I find the file explorer icon? Is there a way to check all files in the phone memory / SD card or we need to use third party app

Best option is to use a third party app. I use File Manager by ASUS available in PlayStore and works great. Good Luck.

there is a rudimentary file manager in Settings > Storage but no one uses it. People use apps from the Playstore like Asus File Manager or Solid Explorer that have alot more features and are easier to navigate.
