I just found out on Amazone.de today that you can order a wireless Qi charger for the DTEK70. So it seems to me that you can wireless charge the Mercury/DTEK70?

So if this is true it would be the first BlackBerry in Europe that has wireless charging

...and that the official name will likely be the ultra-uninspired "DteK70"... Oh, please say it isn't so!

I heard the answer is no, but I wish they've changed their mind or something. Love wireless charging.

Pretty sure that Android Central(?) confirmed no wireless charging on this phone back when it was unveiled officially.

Again we don't know details like the battery capacity, but I was able to confirm that there won't be wireless charging under that soft touch back.

I wouldn't worry about the name Amazon uses. They sometimes list unofficial BlackBerry accessories under names people might know them by or early development names. For example, there are many Classic accessories listed under "Q20".

I'm personally still hoping for the BlackBerry Press for the name. If it's called the DTEK70 I won't want to buy the phone...as much, lol. It needs to be called BlackBerry "something"

    Classic, Q10, Bold 9900, Bold 9000...do u notice the pattern? :-)

Amazon (and eBay) are known for accessories "spammers" from China. They just randomly find generic crap and add "for (insert phone name here)" and flood the search results.

Steve Cistulli fell trap to this too in his tweets.

BTW, can't say what it actually is, but only can say that CBK likes the name of the device. He made it a point to say that so I'm pretty sure it's not simply DTEK70... It's definitely something different.

I also have a Nexus 6, which has wireless and quick charge, the wireless does function as quick charge too. I got spoiled laying it down on the charger on night stand when I go to bed. No fumbling around with cords and which is right side up and squinting to plug into port, (old eyes)

Or just have both. It's like when console gamers say they want gameplay over graphics. I want both...
