Verizon is notorious for sand-bagging non-branded unlocked phones. Included bands aside, I'd have to be 100% sure an unlocked K1 would work on Big Red.

Selling my Note 5 for it!
Pre-ordered the KEYone 2 days ago here in Switzerland. Release date here is stated 10th of April.
At the moment I am using the iPhone 6s+ and can't wait to use the keyboard [emoji6].
I will get this phone, but not right now. Due to app problems I had to jump from a Classic to the Priv. And the Priv works for me. So unless the make an launch offer I can't refuse, I will wait and hope for a great black friday deal...
I'm ordering the unlocked one as soon as it's available in Canada! My Priv stopped working on Tues and I'm back on the Z10. Blackberry Mobile needs to hurry up!

I am almost certain to pick one up in Q2 sometime, and I will run it alongside my Z10/Passport combo to assess whether the keyboard implementation shortcuts can make up for the Android OS shortfalls that have kept me away from using Android as a daily driver.
I hope it works as well as BB10 for me. I am quite pleased with the progress Android has been making with M and N. I had previously planned that to switch from BB10 before mid 2018, but the KEYone has piqued my interest.

As a started the thread I didn't think about that we don't have any BB retailers in Sweden except for 1.
If I buy one online, you guys still think i can get Swedish menys?
THe Passport i think was and still is popular despite being end of life now....the hardware can easily support android. Why doesnt blackberry put out an android passport.......It would be popular!

It would be interesting to look at the potential buyers' "phone path" to gauge who will be buying this.
I've had:
Some original windows mobile phone with a slider, I can't remember the name.
Blackberry Curve, I think.
The original Verizon Droid, it was a slider too
9930 I think
Q10
1st gen Moto X
Nexus 6
I believe that if the K1 was released instead of the Q10, Blackberry might still be a hardware company. One can argue the merits of BB10, but I dropped the Q10 for the lack of app support. It took less than 2 weeks to really like the Moto X. Since getting the Q10 I've been waiting for something like this.
I actually think it's better this way. BB has always been too slow in releasing their phones. TCL and that indonesian company seem more efficient in that sense...
