Because they didn't announce something at an event they never promised to announce anything?

I think most of us are disappointed because we thought all want to see Blackberry comeback from the ashes.

But by announcing nothing at the MWC is a very bad sign...(either they're short on resources to develope hardwares, or they are still not aggressive enough)

I think what it means is no BlackBerry Vienna in the near future.... The PRIV was just a mock up at this time last year, but it was going to be a flagship phone. The Vienna isn't going to be something to make headlines with, just a middle on the road phone. Chen will probably mention it in June if he goes forward with it, then a launch in the end of the year.

Even if the PRIV sales are a flop, I could still see Chen tring to do something with the Vienna on a limited basis.

You would think they would learn...rather than making phones with mid-range specs to save on production and loosing money because they don't sell.

Maybe try putting their last device out with hard core specs and really get some attention and move some product. At least give us a pkb to last a couple of years until someone else produces a bbry killer with a keyboard.

It will be really depressing if I have to use my classic for the next 3 years, love it but I don't know if it will keep pace, especially on the android apps side...less and less works without play services.

Optimistically, they want to move Priv stock before creating a situation where people (who have posted things like "gave up on the Vienna and bought a priv" on the Priv boards) are holding off on the Priv for the Vienna.
