Was just thinking about the Vienna and screen rotation. Unlike the Classic, it will likely have that feature. So, what happens when you are texting on the Vienna and you rotate the phone horizontally? Will it come with a full, virtual keyboard. Would that pop up in horizontal mode? Presumably it will be Android, so you could load one.

The other thing is that the keyboard will likely work as a trackpad. Thinking of the Vienna rotated horizontally, that might be interesting. You would type on the vkb, but then could use the pkb-trackpad to navigate around (yes, there is always the touchscreen, too). This might make for all kinds of unique user interactions, which is appealing.

It must be the same as passport. Passport rotates but there is no virtual keyboard Or anything like that... you have to use the physical keyboard

Not sure if in Android a vkb can be restricted (turned off) in the same way as BB10. I like the idea of having both, especially in the aforementioned horizontal scenario.

I am bumping this post...

Seems we are close to finding out what happens when the phone is turned horizontally when it comes to a vkb and the capacitive keyboard interaction.

I have watched the hands-on videos on YouTube from CES 2017, but have not seen this yet.
