    Spoke to EE (UK Phone Network) they only sell the DTEK 50 and the Priv to businesses. If you're an individual, you can't take out a new contract for a BlackBerry. EE simply do not sell BlackBerry to individuals anymore!!

    Anybody else had the same news? What about the other UK/English networks? This is major news. It could affect UK sales. Which UK network sells BlackBerry now?

    UK customers will be forced to buy the phone outright, so the price will be important. The DTEK 50 is affordable at £275 but DTEK 60 is steep at £450+.

    Let's see what TCL can do....

    Any thoughts?

    Yes you can but they didn't stock the Dtek 50 and 60. Or did they?

    Yes they do. That's where I got my dtek50 on contract with Vodafone. But your right individual carriers like the one you mentioned only seem to do the dteks with a business plan. Hopefully the Mercury will be different!

    It's getting closer :-) should point out the pre-order button above the phone picture was for a phone above the Mercury on the site.
