Clarification: he is the managing director for BlackBerry Mobile (a division of TCL) - not BlackBerry.

One would expect all three of the licensee will offer a PKB option...

But for BlackBerry Mobile... I think the Keyboard is what will help generate interest. It will take time for the more security focused enterprise customers to "buy".

Who knows. If it does, will it be a Priv2 or KEYtwo?

Either way, nice to hear BB branded hardware will still be around for several years.

After your KEYone purchase, start saving for the 'next' device, folks.

No USA roll out of the key1 is a disaster. C'mon we have a business friendly president finally! Why the roll out to the socialist countries first? This world is truly upside down.

What's wrong with May 31st? Same as everywhere else, except for the small batch sent to the UK earlier (which I think was a bit of a soak test).

Buy it direct and unlocked from BlackBerry Mobile.

I have made the transition and have seen the light, yes. Honestly the KEYᵒⁿᵉ will be the softest landing you could ever make coming from BB10 - which you will need to do eventually.

BB10 was fine until it became frozen in time and the app situation deteriorated to the point where it became a significant issue.

I'm quite satisfied after having switched to Android. The OS is more like BB10 than IOS and the only app issues are in trying to choose which ones work best for me.

Lack of apps on BB10 was one of the issues that lead to lack of BB10 device sales but it was never THE issue. As many Android BlackBerry devices can tell us having all the apps in the world will not bring you sales$.

They still have the same BB10 issues with Android as well and that's marketing strategy and money devoted to that strategy.

Wow, so the KEYᵒⁿᵉ was sold, or went on pre order, in the UK, Germany and Canada before the US ....

Can't see a problem with that. It would be a case of arrogant sour grapes to suggest that the order of availability should have been any way other than what BlackBerry mobile put into place.

BlackBerry mobile have got their marketing schedule sorted.

    [WARN]All,
The politics of the countries selected for the first roll-out of the KEYone has no bearing on the thread topic. Let's skip that, please.

The topic under discussion is what, if any, commitment to more pkb devices has been made. Thanks.[/WARN]
