I tried to ask people and BlackBerry on Twitter, but haven't had any luck.

Is anyone able to tell if the two speaker holes really are TWO speakers?

GSMArena and Phonearena say so, but they were wrong with other devices too.

According to James from Berryflow, the KEYone has Stereo speakers

Watch some reviews and give it a few days, the answers you need will all become clear

I assume that it is the same as with the classic. Left=Monospeaker; Right=Microphone
But it would not bother me. Sound quality from the Classic is really great!

I assume it's like the DTEKs with speakers top and bottom. Both are use for stereo music and the top one is used as the earpiece when making calls.

Great news, finally Google Maps can be heard in a car and speaker calls in noisy environments can be heard as well

That's what Erica Griffin said in her hands on. But she's mistaken. Rico4PinkDress, aka Rico4You, aka BlackZ10 did a test where he played a youtube video and covering those grills one at a time proved they were both speakers.

Did he also check for sound coming from the top speaker?

BlackBerry Rep at the launch did say 3 speakers. We played a video and with all noise in background including DJ it sounded really loud.

So what did you find out? Are the speakers at the bottom stereo or is the setup more like on the HTC 10 where the earpiece works as the second speaker? Thanks in advance.

We played back a YT video and it nice and loud. Considering the huge noise in the background with all the people and DJ playing. Asked BlackBerry rep and did say 3 speakers 1 at the top and 2 at the top. But we did like powerful volume level we heard. Then again all the KEYones there Re 32 of them were preproduction and TCL did day that overall software not fully ready.

Hm, maybe it was someone else then, I remember someone with us said that he covered the bottom grills one at a time to verify the sound came from both...

And apparently no one held the phone to their ear to find out if there was sound coming from the top of the phone as well as the bottom, just like it does with the DTEKs, also made by TCL.

Looks like the new KeyOne comes with good speakers but poor storage. 3 good speakers but only 32GB of internal storage which is a bit on the low side unless one does not plan on installing any apps on the KeyOne
