    Hey everyone

Got my keyone yesterday and I noticed a slight black line on my F key.
    I have attached a picture.

Is it worth returning it for a replacement handset or better just to keep it?
Not sure whats causing it, from what I can tell it's just where the white hasn't been applied thick enough

I would return it, you shouldn't have to stick with something that's messed up, and that would drive me nutts having a line on there

Return it! I mean that's what I would do since I'm very picky when I buy a new device lol. It's gotta be new and perfect or else I want a replacement. So go for it!

I would exchange it. It is only minor but knowing that it came out of the box like that would annoy me. Also, for £500 it should be perfect. This ain't no cheapo random phone.

Agree, don't hesitate and don't be too nice. It's a mistake from BlackBerry. Surely they are trying hard but every customer returning things because of an error is also an opportunity for improvement for them.

I would return it and get a new device, I am also very picky about my stuff when I paying my hard earned money for it. Looks like a simple manufacturing error and that would make them aware of it so they can correct any defects in their process.

I would also return it IF I could get an immediate replacement.

If you won't get an immediate replacement, wait until there is plentiful KEYone stock then replace it.

Good call Leeds. Glad the new one worked out better. My OCD in me would have went into overdrive if I didn't replace it.

I tend to be forgiving of things like this. It's all how you look at it. Think of it as a birthmark or a beauty mark. If you get your KEYone mixed up with someone else's, you will immediately be able to identify it!

Its a slight manufacturing defect where the "F" key didn't set properly hence theres a bit of black covering the letter. Although minimal, you could return it and get another one but it really is not a deal breaker.

You should return it, there is no excuse for this, it is a brand new device, and the if this happened with me, I would definitely return it. You don't want to run into other issues also.

I would have returned it as well. Paying $500 for a device you should expect it to come out of the box with no issues, no matter what they are.

    I was a bit naughty....
It was the last one in stock reserved for someone but CFW policy is that if someone brings a faulty device back within first 14 days a reserved item can be used to replace an already purchased but faulty item.
I feel rather guilty but I also wanted a perfect device

I hope you weren't rude in returning it, by saying "I just want to return it for "f"'s sake".
As long as nothing else was wrong, meh, I might have kept it and wouldn't have been too bothered.
Okay now don't send me that one when I order. tee hee, unless I get a percentage... for the "f" off. (No offense or swear words intended anyone...just giggles)
