A lot of people have been complaining about the 625 processor but if you see this processor was a Performer interms of performance and battery life.

Which ever device has this is not let the device down.

This is a CPU is from last year, february 2016... same as Lenovo P2 at £199 as Zmain said, same as galaxy C7, xiaomi redmi 4, huawei nova

Snapdragon 626 is out and 10% more power for same energy efficiency, at this price with bulky battery 3500mah, and quick charge 3.0, and smaller screen they should have given snapdragon 653 and 4gb of ram.

It's good to be positive but the criticism is justified considering the price. A sd 625 usually indicates a sub $300 phone

I'm not much of a techie, but is the processor the main factor in determining the price?
I mean the physical keyboard on a productivity kind of phone is the main selling point with literally no competition with other brands, so why compare it with phones based on just having the same processor?

Go talk to Motorola, TCL-BlackBerry's primary competitor.

Blackberry /TCL have gone much too far out of sight with the pricing of this device.
Not even 4gb of ram no qhd screen and very power battery.

I would bet my house on Motorola/Lenovo destroying the BB KEYone in terms of sales. Lenovo price their phones to sell very well in a crowded market. TCL are charging stupid prices for outdated hardware. This thing is going to bomb - seriously.

The great thing is, if you don't think it's worth it, you can just choose not to buy it! When Lenovo, or any other brand, releases a pkb phone with specs that I can live without, then that would be great for people like me who need a pkb above all! 😎

Not about the pkb, they do not even put newest snapdragon CPU 626, they just put 625, one year old CPU in the new ERA of pkb BB, come on just be realistic, TCL / Blackberry laughing at us, this keyone is just like the yesterday presentation terrible in terms of what they could have done for the price they charge. I will wait real life reviews before even waiting for 449$ price drop.

It costs money to produce a touch sensitive keyboard. Not like a virtual one that is only software. The price will be higher for that reason

I am eagerly waiting to see some real life reviews of this device, the rpice point is debatable just for a second compare an Android with IOS don't you think Apple prices way high for their devices?

keyONE market is for enterprise users not normal users like for Social or Media purpose.

Now talking as a BlackBerry Fan Boy I am really unhappy for the price tag what it it holding and the availability.

Availability is the more serious factor here April seriously?? Samsung S8 will be announced by March and they are available the same day as per the sources.

QHD screen at 4.5" would have served no purpose other than to drain the battery a little quicker.

Moto G5 plus is also coming soon with snapdragon 625 and it's $225 USD. I don't know how they can sell it for $225 but keyone will have to convince a lot of people if keyboard is worth premium. Unless they're aiming for small market.

The phone will probably tank worse than the Priv disaster. BlackBerry just doesn't get it. They have never been able to price properly. Too much greed.

I like what I see from the KeyOne. I don't think they will be able to support the price point. I'm only 7 months into my DTEK50 and love it so I will wait till I can get my hands on it in a store to see how much I really like the phone and if I do will snap one up when the phone price gets cut to $500 Canadian. It will happen by the end of 2017.

I would greatly prefer a balance of battery life and performance than a phone that is screaming fast and dies in four hours.
