I bought my Q10 first day they went on sale by Tmobile. Great phone but can tell it's about run its course. Really like what I've read and think about the Rome, if it's true. Have to believe a lot of BBERS out there like me, knowing it's about time to replace this Q10 and want something similar with slightly bigger screen and updated guts in the phone. Anyone's guess if and when this may become a reality and if so, when made available? Could see a pent up demand from the current Q10 Army out there to line up for this phone!

I can see the Rome release around September because blackberry is going to need a device for all the classic blackberry form factor users to switch to given there focus on Android.

I'm a huge fan of the Classic but the Rome is going to be a successor to the Q10 if anything.

What made the Classic great was the inclusion of the tool belt which made it the successor to the Bold 9900.

I wish the Rome would have a toolbelt or at least the trackpad but I don't see it happening.

Getting back on track though, knowing BlackBerry's history, the Rome is probably the last device to be released this year. I'd say expect it at Christmas time.

At least I hope, the trackpad is integrated in the PKB.

Which is great, I own a silver passport and I'd kill to wipe BB10 and install android.

The Rome is just a rendered image from someone who is not from BlackBerry. No assurance that it will exist in the future.

The Rome is probably my next jump. After giving all my upgrades away to each family member, I am finally eligible to upgrade. I tried the passport for 2 weeks but just couldn't handle the form factor or the lack of standard keyboard. And with the Rome on the horizon I didn't want to strap myself in to a plan. I too have had the Q10 since it was released. I LOVE BB10 but if BlackBerry isn't going to support it, I guess I don't have a choice. The PKB is #1 in my priorities.
