    I don't like it. What I do like is how the Google Pixel has a little oval G in the upper left. Click on it and it opens up.

    Do you know if the K1 will be able to have the "oval G" search button instead of the 1998 long tool bar?

    This is Android, don't like the bar? Remove it.

    Get a different widget up in there!

    Heck, switch it out for a launcher that DOES have that "pill" if all else fails.
