Had it a week now, but yesterday was the first time I was able to get out and try it.

Can solidly say this is the first BlackBerry in all the years I've had them where the camera isn't disappointing.

Anyway, here's a few from yesterday evening:

Did you use manual mode with your shots? Or are these regular point and shoot mode?

My experience with the Priv uploading pics to Crackberry has been similar. Here are two ways to resolve it:
    1. do some editing to the picture. If you want to keep it as taken, then do an ever so slight crop and then save. The saved picture should upload correctly if you are using the CB app, directly from your phone.
    2. transfer them to a PC and upload from the CB website from your PC. I have a Windows 7 computer and I use the rotating software on my computer to right any that appear sideways or upside down on my PC.
My experience has been that the CB app reduces the quality of the photo. I am not sure about Tapatalk or the forums app.
    Good luck!

    You have a choice of 3:2, 16:9, 4:3 and 1:1.

Some more from my dog walking. Still impressed at the focus this thing achieves at times. Not so great when there's lots of light, but scenes like this it aces.

Just looked out the blinds, seen this sky and leaped into action, lol. Just loving this camera. I'm not really a photo guy but I do like a nice sunset and full moon with the clouds goin past it. Can't wait to get a picture of that. My older BB's just didn't capture them how they appeared. But the KEYone...shouldn't have a problem 😘

Those pics taken by the KeyOne are really REALLY a big $hit compared to the Priv photos you compared them with, sheeesh. Clearly you must have handled in wrongly somehow since literally nobody has said/wrote/show that the Priv would take better pix. Seriously, would I had to choose a phone(camera)based on your comparison shots, I -as a cam buff- wouldn't decide to go through with my purchase of the KeyOne next month..
A case of user-error? Let's hope so! Though I wonder what could have gone wrong here.
I totally agree, the pics posted here are sure not what I expected (in a bad way) given the fact there was so much talk and comparing to the Pixel's camera. Imo, from what I see here the Pixel, Nexus 6p and even the Priv's photo quality are far superior.

Yea, here the Priv photos are better. The Priv have been getting trashed by most folks since the launch of the Keyone. The Keyone does not beat the Priv in some areas:

    1. Priv equal or better rear camera, bigger and better screen display, keyboard has alot of the same features minus the finger print scanner. Keyone wins in the battery longevity department. Some Priv owners battery can get them thru a day and since Marshmallow update heating issues have subsided for some.

Keyone having the Nougat OS and the 808 processor in the Priv is a minus but imo the chasm between the Keyone and Priv is not as large as it is made out to be. It is a trade off between the two phones...just have to decide what features benefit you the most. Everything is subjective and obviously people will decide what is best for them.
