I can't believe this is still happening. It was supposed to be fixed in an update back in my Priv days in over a year ago, but it's not.

Sometimes, when you go into Hub to read your one unread message, once you read it, the "spark" in the upper left of the Hub (on the hamburger menu) does not disappear, even though your entire Hub is marked "read". The only way to clear is to click the hamburger menu and then back out of it.

This is also caused by unread messages in accounts you're not showing in Hub. For instance, I have WhatsApp and Hangouts not showing in my Hub (due to their limited integration). But if I have an unread WhatsApp or Hangouts, they will continue to cause the spark to be there.

These are two separate causes of the phantom spark. Both still exist. Both were supposed to be fixed 15 months ago. How can this not be fixed yet?

Have you tried swiping down from the top and pressing "clear all"? That worked for me with a rogue spark.
