    I'm sure there would be security issues that would have to be analyzed. It may be difficult to implement on BlackBerry Android. We'll see.

    I read in an article somewhere on android central that ALL devices that do not "Ship with Oreo" won't be able to implement Project Treble as that will have to do with changing the partitions and such..

    That's the skinny of it, and it's mostly correct.

    Google has been stated to be working with OEMs to quickly update their current devices and to add Treble support.

    What this means... Is probably that OEMs are going to ignore it anyway.

    Still, we might be surprised by a few OEMs.

    i personally wasnt expecting confirmation on Oreo so just getting another major build is great news to me (previous priv owner).
