I did try the parrot app and it worked fine for me except the fact that I had to change the recording setting other then that it works and the best part is it is free and does both voice recording and call recording . thank cellphonejunkey .

Okay did some research and the old version phone recording was free! now to record phone calls you have to "rent" the Pro version at a monthly fee! so not good afterall!!

I have been using Boldbeast on my priv since January this year, and it's worked flawlessly for me.

I don't know what all the record modes are, but I use the first one.

Also, it records without the phone having to be on loud speaker.

thankx Heavens1. but it is not recording the person on the other end it just a records my voice during call . I guess it has problems working with 7.1.1 which keyone is on . did anyone else try this call recorder ?

Perhaps change the mode to 2 and test that, and then 3 if that doesn't work etc

Parrot is NOT free to record phone calls. You need to purchase the Pro version for that and it costs $19.99. I purchased it, however, it did not record my calls. I had used Parrot on BB10 and it worked fine, yet it did not work on my Keyone. I diligently followed parrot's suggestions on how to get it to work (they have an extensive post on this on their Help page), and even wrote a comprehensive email to their support desk detailing the steps I took and the failures I encountered. I got back a stock answer 5 days later that helped not one iota. They also did not address my demand to refund me my $20. They conveniently side-stepped the issue altogether. I called Verizon and successfully got Verizon to remove the charge from my cell phone bill (I had originally billed the app purchase to my cell phone bill.) Thereafter, I installed ACR, and it works fine. It is also completely free. I have no idea why anyone would pay $20 to Parrot, even if it did work, when you can get ACR for free.
