What content is one able to migrate to a droid device once I make this switch?

I assume I will lose all the BB10 paid apps, athough many of those were replacements for other apps otherwise 'freely' available.

What about Contacts, device saved photos, Docs to Go, PDF stuff, etc.? Will device switch help on those?

Also, I have been unable to access certain material because a site requires Checkpoint. VPN was cumbersome and slow.

I assume that with a droid device Checkpoint will be available so, other things being equal, I should be able to access such secured sites?

Any other issues I should be aware of?

Yes, but there seems to be 3rd party apps that allow you to backup on BB10 and restore on android. I am still investigating what is the best. BB10: SMS Backup K1: SMS Backup & Restore. There seems to be a paid option too. Haven't tried anything yet.

No, mine transferred well over 4000, can't remember how many....not that I need them
