The Mercury, because I want an Android-powered BlackBerry with a reasonably wide keyboard and a beefy battery. The PRIV is too "old" now, especially for its current price, while the DTEKs are excellent phone, but still Alcatels.

He was referring about the form factor which was obvious. Now if he had that form factor with full screen ( vkb) on android he'd be happy
I picked that up. It's still off topic.

    This is all personal preference.

Priv - Out! Had one for a year...never used the keyboard (maybe 5 times max)

When it comes down to the Mercury or the dtek60 some will say they can type better on a virtual keyboard and others will say the opposite. Personally I don't care either way...I have no issue flipping between devices , changing up OS's for that matter. VKB...PKB no problem. Went from a z30 to a passport without blinking. The dtek60 has been my main device since it's launch and it is a fabulous device. The Mercury looks just so HAWT! Can't wait to get use to a PKB again.....the question is for me...what is next for BB mobile? It's all about the latest and greatest.

I want dtek 60 specs in a priv body. I love my Priv but the hardware is definitely showing its age and subpar flagship components of late 2015, which were bafely above mid tier. Thank gkkdness it has 3gb of ram.

It's all about the pkb. That's the deciding factor, the importance of the pkb. No right answer. It's a personal preference. A personal value.

Unfortunately, none of them can match my Passport. Need screen size. Passport is the best form factor. Would like it in a VKB. So the closest I can come will be a Huawei Mate 9 with a Hub+ setup.
Yes, Huawei mate 9 Porsche Design with Kirin 960!!!!

Just waiting for a quality Mercury review from CBK and/or B1aze. PKB not a deal breaker, but IMO the Mercury looks more "BlackBerry" than DTEK. May wait until Black Friday 2017 deals before pulling trigger on anything. Just wish the phones were physically available to handle. "Feels good in my hand" helped my decisions on the Torch 9800 and Z10.
