I heard sometime between May 1st and May 31st, with the possibility of June or maybe July. Seems pretty clear to me...

Um... wouldn't 04-05-17 be April 5 not May 4th. I thought the 4th May 2017 was the proper way to display the day before month date. As using just the numbers would be too confusing
It would typically be in the US, but not necessarily so in other parts of the world.

Here in Aus, (+ other countries), we drive on the correct side of the road, and doubly so as I'm a left hander. 😁

Re dates, i'm perfectly clear about a date unless it's a US site, then I haven't got a clue what was intended. Today's date is 6/5/17. (So there!)

And, for whatever reasons, those Euro and UK companies posted date release info that they considered pertinent. Those dates may or may not pan out ......

The whole date release issue is being blown out of proportion, it's not within my control, so I go with the flow......

Australia, English, same people. It's literally like you guys and like Jamaica while the rest of the world drives on the right side of the road. And under the logic of people on the internet, majority means correct. So... ;-)

I actually prefer the 05-May-2017 or even 2017-May-05 format over the way the USA does it, but it's just a different way of writing it so it's not a big deal for me...

The numerical mm-dd-yyyy format is another example of the US ignoring current world standards and sticking with an old British convention long after most of the world including Britain have agreed on new international standards.

Canada tried to fully adopt the Metric System in the 1970s but had to pull back after the US choose to stick with the old ways. Even now when we buy paint, instead of getting what should be a 4 or 5 litre can, we get 3.79 litres, the equivalent of a US gallon.

Hahaha correct, right or left or? Left-hander here as well but we drive on the right side of the road in the US. As to whether the date for the KEYone is the 4th or 5th -- or whenever, might have to do with: a. what time zone you are in and/or, b. when the rollout reaches a specific country. In a rollout it depends on how fast the rollout rolls. You could get on a roll about the rollout.
I do WONDER if Steve Cistulli is aware of the flutter he has caused over here at CrackBerry as a result of his 5th tweet. I wonder if it was an unplanned convergence-- where the date for orders to some regions and Steve Cistulli's 5th tweet happened to be the same number. It is fun to watch the dialog unfold.

@Sigewif if there's even the whiff of a slightly different interpretation to any matter related to BlackBerry, then it's seized upon by crackberrians. That's my observation, lol 😁

@Heavens1 yep, that is pretty much how we roll. But seriously speaking, people should realize it does take time for a rollout. And Steve Cistulli did send one tweet with a pic. that showed more than one Pkb configuration. If this is the case then of course it could add time to roll out with different PKBs. There are also different versions for different parts of the world. The tweet was the one that said something like "April will be interesting."

Personally I am planning to hold my KEYone in my left hand for the most part since I am right handed and I fully expect to do so at some time in the month of May, 2017.

    Too cool 😎

Tray open, I hold my priv in both hands, and vkb I'm ambidextrous 😀

And I haven't got a clue when tcl/blackberry mobile will even mention it in aus, let alone sell it!

So any dates mentioned are totally irrelevant to me 😛
