    I bought a KeyOne from Carphone Warehouse in the UK. Great phone. My only question is about the monthly security patches - have any CPW customers had the May patch installed, and if not, does anyone have an idea of the timeframe?

    As far as I can tell the only OTA update has come for the BBB100-1 (i.e. review models), going from AAK831 to AAL093; no change in patch level, just fixing some teething problems with the new OS. The BBB100-2 (i.e. what everyone else has) should be on AAK879 I believe.

    Thanks Thurask. I did receive the AK879 upgrade. The recent cyber attacks have been dominating the news in the UK (not that the exploit goes after Android devices) but it made me curious as far as the rollout of security patches is concerned.

    I agree. It's mid May now and KeyOne still hasn't received the May 2017 security patch. Nexus and Pixel owners received it on May 1. I hope Blackberry keeps their end of the bargain with timely security updates.

    The two dteks and the priv have received the BlackBerry 5 may security patch.

    To date it seems the KEYᵒⁿᵉ hasn't.

    And, I am reliably informed that samsung haven't.

    Well you remember incorrectly my friend. I am happy with the KeyOne and Blackberry. Would be nice to see a security update in time however.

    BBB100-1 is the USA GSM model. BBB100-2 is the international model. BBB100-3 is the USA CDMA model.

    I bought mine first wave from Amazon, and it's the BBB100-1. I am on the April security patch and build number AAL093. No updates available.

    Yeah, the only American carrier that's shown any interest is Sprint, and the CDMA version is still delayed.
