I've been trying to find details of how much the K1 will be in Aus, and selling details .... so far this is all I've found:
"With the device hitting global markets from April at US$549, we’re looking at a May/June launch for the KEYone in Australia, with a very positive AU$799 price point. There’s no information yet on any prospective carrier deals, but we’ll let you know when we find out."
    https://ausdroid.net/2017/02/26/tcl-...congress-2017/

So, essentially, we're no closer to knowing about the Aus release, pricing, telco stock, or other shops where Alcatel currently sells and may be outlets for the K1.

Please contribute info as you find out .....

    Edit
Clove UK will probably receive the device a month or so before us in Aus, and the bands meet our requirements ..... (around AUD775)

Crackberry shop US and crackberry shop CA will also sell the K1, and the V1 should also meet our Aus band requirements, so USD549 = approx aud690

I might add, I will definitely not be purchasing my K1 from the non blackberry affiliated grey importer BBStore that operates out of Hunters Hill here in Sydney ....

    FD-LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17 20, 28A (2100/1900/1800/2600/900/800/700 MHz)
    TD-LTE 38, 40, B28 (2600/2300/2500 MHz)
    HSPA+ 1, 2, 5/6, 8 (2100/1900/850/900 MHz)
    Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)
    BlackBerry KEYone Specifications

They meet with Optus band specs.

Here's the ausdroid specs page for aus telco bands:
    http://ausdroid.net/australian-mobil...k-frequencies/

And the oztowers info, more detailed:

    Edit
I like that we have the same bands as other regions, it means that we can choose to pay the best price, for example when specials are offered ..... (and it may give pause to TCL re not over pricing the device here in Aus ....)

Saw an SMH review that KEYone is expected to be available in Australia around May or June - with a recommended retail price of $799.

So, that's the second mention of $799.

    Interesting cnet aus article:

    Edit
    This is a great article:
    http://eftm.com.au/2017/02/hands-on-...ustralia-36964

The author, Rob Locke, reckons "The price point is a masterstroke from parent company TCL" ....

And Locke does a great job on showing just how good the cameras are!

    Also, that $799 pricepoint.
