    Well, it might be handy in some cases but it would be a far cry from Blend. My Z30 sits on its Qi wireless easel in my upstairs den and feeds blend to my laptop downstairs. No phone in sight and no wires.
    For sure it would be seen as much more useful if there were no wires involved. However, there are some definite advantages (better connection, phone gets charged at the same time) to having it wired as well. And, given that it's just a standard USB cable, you could always hook this up to a dock for your device and it would still look pretty slick.

    Thanks to TheBirdDog for finding it for me. Seems like they released it quietly Dec 2016. I gave up on them after Black Friday. LOL.
