K1 seems to be the popular choice so far, but I kind of like K.O. for KNOCK OUT myself!

So.. K1, K.O. or other? Thoughts??

to me the name sounds a bit like Q1 which is reminiscent of the Q10. Interestingly Blackberries largest market is apparently Indonesia and in Indonesian the letter "Q" is pronounced like the word "key". So when they said the name Q10 in indonesian it sounded more like "key"10. Just an interesting observation and probably unintentional but who knows maybe it is a hidden shoutout to the Q10 since the KEYone would be the upgrade for Q10/Classic users.

K1. If there's an updated version, it would continue to K2.

K1, cos ko, being knock out, is a boxing term (as we know) .....

    Edit
I might just add that K1 is a sailing classification from memory. I recall it from various olympic games.

What else uses the acronym/abbreviation k1?

Ok.... clearly feeling like it's K1 for short... The K1 is a K.O.!

Maybe I'll nickname mine the CBK1 (like like my own AirForce 1, but you know.. it's a phone instead of a plane).
Superfly_FR and Plazmic Flame like this.

Just curious, how do the Canadians pronounce 'k'? And the people in the US, how do they pronounce 'k'?

Here in aus we pronounce 'k' as kay (like girl's name). And i'm fairly sure that's how it's pronounced in the UK; 'kay'.

    Edit
And if there's any kiwis reading this, do you say 'key' for 'k'? (Pin for pen, fush for fish etc, lol (i'm far enough away not to feel the darts, lol )

    K1 for sure Kevin.

KO has the obvious negative connotation to it in my opinion.

I think it's more for typing than saying. There is no difference in the shortness of saying K1 or KEYone but a huge difference in typing it

I've been using K1: for BlackBerry this was an important peak to climb.

With the right pricing strategy: K1. With $549: Knocked Out so K.O.
