I just emailed John Chen to explain what I would like to see in the next android phone produced by Blackberry i.e. good security, great camera, and physical keyboard at a competitive price. Basically I would like a Classic that can run android. I gave him my rationale for wanting this and comments from other friends and co-workers about what they would buy. Have you written to him? I would suggest that he needs to hear from us about what you feel will be something that will sell well. His email is [email protected]

Good idea. I should write to him to ask him to have an official announcement to kill off BB10 finally and put it out of its misery, so I don't have to read about stupid complaint comments on the front page anymore.

I imagine an official announcement should be coming soon. Has he mentioned anything pass 10.4?

Better idea. We should ask him to shut down the Android plans of the future. Throw the remaining inventory of the Privs in the Arctic. Post on front page in big BOLD letters (pun-intended) the announcement of 3 new BB10 devices to be released later this year so I can watch suckaz like you read the paper pissed off with your upper lip quivering. BB10 is here to stay and ain't going nowhere. And you can take that to the bank and cash that check.

Go buy another phone if you don't like Blackberry and have lost faith in the its future. Why whine and blather on endlessly? I love my Classic and I will love the android version even more as obviously it is needed for Blackberry to stay in the hardware end of business. I look forward to hearing an update soon.

Why so? I believe they have sold many more BBOS devices then Android. None of their BB10 devices have been big hits. I waited for almost four years for a replacement for my 9810 and what do they deliver, an Android phone with a Blackberry label so I got a Classic. If they had relesed the Priv with a choice of BB10 or Android I would have purchased the BB10 slider and gladly payed twice as much as I did for the Classic. Well you may be convinced that Android is the solution I AM NOT.
