Going back to notes on Remember, how do you back that up? Is there an equivalent on BlackBerry Android? Sorry never had one so I don't know.

Probably HUB, shortcuts+keyboard preferences and battery settings. I don't know. I might just stare at the phone for a while first.

Here's what I plan on doing:

    Put on anti-glare screen protector
Throw in SD and SIM card
    Power on
Go through the intro preparations and add my accounts
Delete any apps I won't be using
    Download the Apps I need
    Update everything
    Set permissions
    Set Keyboard Shortcuts
Customize look and feel and Notifications (possibly with the aid of Nova Launcher)
Fool around with settings to get to know Android
Add any apps I forgot about

    Use phone normally.

Update my email accounts and spend a day working out my notifications from the cluttered mess to somewhat bearable.

Haven't used the hub but I'm hoping that alleviates some of the pain points I have with android notifications.

There is a NOTE app in BB-android devices and Content Transfer can move some of the info. Unfortunately, NOTES is pretty bare-bones and it is standalone - meaning it does not sync with anything else.

Someone else asked about the Password app. Those can be exported and imported using the app on both ends.

Honestly, I go into setting and change the font size to the smallest and the brightness to the lowest. Then I do everything else.

This app claims to export remember to onenote. Mixed reviews on it and the dev has gone dark though I'm sure he'll still take your money. I'm thinking about trying it due to lack of options.

Haven't used android in a few years. What's the first thing a bb10 user should do once the mercury is all charged up?
Move your sim card from your Android handset back to your BB10 handset. Return the Android handset. Sigh.

And then I usually drop the phone shortly thereafter, being not used to the size difference from my previous phone. That and retrieving whatever icon/widget I've accidentally swiped off the screen.

You all will like android OS, just will take you a few days to learn and once you use the new android OS and then try going back to the BB10 phone it will look and feel weird and turn that phone off and Android ON!

I went from many BB OS phones to the BB10 to the Priv now on Note 5 and loving the Note 5 and I am sure the new BB phone will be sweet
