Looks like it's official... not much new aside from the battery being bigger than I thought. Seems sweet!

EDIT: page may be down now. I think GSM Arena had made a mistake and didn't mean to publish. They confirmed all the rumors: Gpu was 605 I believe.
    About 3500 mha battery.
    625 processor.
    Same lense as Google pixel.
    Android 7.1.
    3:2 aspect ratio.
That's pretty much all I remember.

BlackBerry Mercury is now official, aptly named KEYone - GSMArena.com news

Hmmm, not rolling off my tongue but it's not bad at all.

I like that the marketing material shows the dark background which seems to mitigate the silver top quite a bit.

Our Verizon brothers and sisters are not going to be happy though - I didn't see CDMA compatibility on there.

Not bad, I hope BB Mobile sell direct on their website, for those of us who don't wanna buy through a carrier.

I knew they would sell it at 650 USD, I mentioned it on another forum. But April is very far off, common BB Mobile.

Price is way too high for a phone with SD625 and 3g RAM. All my hope in TCL managing BlackBerry prices the way they manage Alcatel prices is now thrown out the balcony.

Also hopefully the April release date is false.

Edit: GSM said in their article that they don't know price or availability so I guess they're assuming the price?

Yes, Blackberry Mercury has been Announced as 'Blackberry KEYone'. Don't know why they chose this name but it is the last 'PROPER' Blackberry Smartphone.

The price is fair because it's the only keyboard phone out there right now. If you can't live without a keyboard you will buy blackberry regardless.

True, the GSM spec page says around 600euro, so no exact info. Still pretty high

I saw that as well and I won't be happy if it's not released on Verizon. Guess that means I'll be sticking w/ Priv.

That is true, but I want the people who can live without a keyboard and are just curious to buy it. With that price tag, people will dismiss it early.

Key One is a nice name but seriously pricing it correctly will be the key number one to success. If its 600euro, BB will repeat its mistake all over again

KeyOne - Is that it for sure? not a bad name at all. Key has both the meaning of the keyboard, and it being essential (as in key component). Elemental. One can mean it is one of a kind, number one or It is THE one to have. It is fun to read meanings into this.
