I am looking at buying a smart watch (Samsung Gear S3 (Tizen) or Lg Watch Sport (Android wear 2.0)). I have a BB K1 and was wondering if this works fluently (email, Whatsapp, text messaging) ?.

Works awesome the android wear 2 update just came out and is even better! I use an Asus Zenwatch 2 w/matching metal bracelet!
As I looked on line they don't include metal bracelets anymore and are matching leather only.

Android 2 (using a Huawei) works (I don't use whatsapp) but native text worked very well.

some features seem to be failing on the pebble app but if you are just trying out a watch you can probably get a pebble for next to nothing. I like the combo. almost essential to have additional vibrations for notifications as the phone is a bit weak.

I have an S3 as well but it's too bulky to button most dress shirt cuffs. nice batters life but I would look at other solutions first. tiezen is meh

the really nice thing about the S3 is the bezzel to scroll function which is very useful and an elegant way to access information.
