Hong Kong International Airport?
Posted via CB10
Hello from Malaysia! Seriously, I've been waiting for this device for sooooo long! I reluctantly jumped ship last year to touch-screen phone when Whatsapp announced that they're to stop supporting BB10. BB should have made this device like many years ago
Me here! Waiting but not sure when it will come to Singapore!
Anyone else from Shanghai ?
I guess it will be available in Japan at the usual exorbitant price that new BlackBerry phones have here.

Hong Kong International Airport
Guys! You're in Hong Kong, can't you just counterfeit a KEYone?
Probably not even popular enough for that.
So, anyone else shipping from the states to Asia?

I doubt the people in Indonesia would wait for KEYone. They already got the Aurora. Maybe just some with deep pockets though ;)
I was skeptical to post the link because they are indicating they will have units in last week of March which seems to good to be true.

I've been following this thread to see how TCL will treat the marketing and retail sale in the Asian countries. I haven't got a clue as to how they're going to approach it in Aus, but I can say that Alcatel is widely distributed and sold here, so hopefully TCL will use the same channels for the Key1.
I only buy factory unlocked, so if worse comes to worse and the phone is only available through telco plans then I'll be looking to buy from overseas, which shouldn't prove difficult because it seems that essentially there are only two band versions, cdma and the rest of the world.
they charge by weight of the package so cant give you definitive price yet on shipping. And there might be a Duty tax on top of shipping. Struggles... T.T and I don't know why, but I am not getting any notification at all. But I'll be going to Hawaii in May for few days but i would rather get one thats not carrier locked so well see.
Yeah. I'm gonna buy unlocked and send to one of my pals in HK, Taiwan, or Korea, then pick it up there. This is turning out to be an expensive phone for me. :)
Also not sure if it's a concern but you might run into warranty issues unless somethings changed you have to get lucky to get warranty support from BlackBerry outside of purchase country.
Not sure how will be handled by TCL.

Yep, lose warranty, but I've owned 4 Blackberry's since 2009, and never had a problem. Of course the key1 is a tcl device, so we won't know until we use if it's going to need some sort of repair issue.
But, I'm hoping I'll be able to buy a factory unlocked in Aus, without a hassle.
Our price will be aud799, apparently.
Waiting :)
Blackberry Pilipinas
What's the price in all your countries?
Hi there.
At only grey market listed" so far it's 27950 PHp which is about 560usd which is great as things here are usually overpriced in Philippines
Since it's grey market this price could change and you are given 7 day replace one year labor no parts warranty so there's a bit of a risk.
Unsure of what it will be in official blackberry mobile stores as with the Priv they marked it up about 300 USD but it might be different since it's TCL now we shall see.

Funny thing is the Priv is still price way higher on official partner stores here in PH. Around 700-800USD. But of course, grey market is a different story.
I'll wait for a couple of weeks or months before buying on a grey market. BlackBerry 10 price falls so fast in the past. Maybe this will be the same case.

My Priv stopped working so I got a myphone cheapie until this one comes out so I can't wait :)
Let's see how this works out as the lady was quite sure she would have my unit before April 1 lol

That key1 price looks better than our aud price.
As you note, it's a wait and see re the tcl approach.
Yeah we shall see if it holds when I got my Priv one place tried to gouge me a bit so I got it elsewhere :)

Learned my lesson already to wait for at least six months for prices to come down to more reasonable levels, so although I'm highly tempted, I'll muster the resolve to wait until probably next year to get the KeyOne.
