Can someone link me to another phone with a touch sensitive keyboard that is priced at 200-299 like people want it? I'm looking and can't find one. BlackBerry/TCL is using tech that isnt cheap to make. Oh and the time it takes BB to patch security updates. This isnt just a rebranded idol 4s, this is a whole new phone, and one with stuff no other one has.

sure 499 CAD would be great, but they have to make money too, and I doubt they'd sell it at 299 USD and take a loss.

I don't think anybody (who is reasonable) is saying that it should have been priced that low. That said, it should have been within the range of a remarkably similar phone, the Moto Z Play, which has the same 625 processor, same battery size, much bigger (5.5") screen and a beautiful AMOLED display (did they even say what screen tech the Keyone had?). The Z Play is priced at $399.

Oh, and the Z Play will have been out for 6 months by the time the Keyone is released.

It should have been priced somewhere in the $399-$449 range if they wanted to have any chance at success.

Price is what I expected and I'm willing to pay that for a PKB.
What I really didn't expect is the terrible presentation and "STARTING" April availability date - which we all know means pre-orders will start in April, shipments in mid to late May!!

I was counting on this having a great camera, but since they didn't spend any time on the camera, I think their software sucks as usual and it's not anywhere close to the Pixel.
