Default PGP integration in the BlackBerry Hub

As a layman, I am wondering the following. Does BlackBerry have the technical chops and security know-how to bring PGP integration in the BlackBerry Hub?? Surely with their security and privacy DNA and their current role as software company this should be a goal. Are there enterprise users who would appreciate such a feature?

Hub on BB10 can actually use PGP (as of 10.3.2), although I've only gotten it to work with Exchange ActiveSync (so no consumer providers): https://help.blackberry.com/en/black...022272000.html

No news for that on Hub for Android, although since it's Android there's already a glut of PGP messaging apps like OpenKeychain+K9Mail.

Yes, I guess there are other options on Android out there, but wouldn't it really complete the Hub? I mean, we're talking BlackBerry, supposed specialists of cybersecurity right?

It knows what a pgp email is but cannot process it.

Honestly folks, S/Mime is superior in every way to PGP. Really.

Yes that's the whole point, wouldn't it be better if the BlackBerry Hub could process it? I mean it is being sold as a tool, wouldn't it be even more BlackBerry to sell it as a security-conscious tool?

Doesn't the BlackBerry Hub do S/MIME? I thought I read that somewhere.
