how to get past Bubble Bash level?

In Bubble Bash 2, Extra Fun, Extra Games, there are 30 levels. I don't know what to do on level 10. There are no bubbles to hit at all. I just end up hitting bubbles up into nothing until the timer runs out. The only thing to hit are a couple birds that fly across every now and then. I hit them and get 100 points for it but it does nothing to "complete" the level. What are we suppose to do in that level?

I completed the entire game so can't go back and check but I think in this level you're supposed to hit the birds carrying the balls. Once they drop the ball, it counts as a legit hit. Check in the top right as to the number of birds you need to hit.

Same problem here. The birds that occasionally show up aren't carrying anything.

Same problem. Birds carry nothing. Obviously a Gameloft issue. Odd that this game's been around for such a long time (check out Gameloft's own help page) and they've obviously known about the problem...yet BB decided this should be amongst the 'apology apps'.
