do i need internet to play downloaded games

i just bought a blackberry off someone and i don't yet have a data plan and i downloaded some aps and i just wasn't sure if the games that i had downloaded need internet to play. so yeah, can anyone help me out?

I'm not sure but I think it depends on the game. For example, I'm thinking for a game like bejeweled you don't need it, but for a game like word rival you do.
