I bought Need For Speed Shift 3D from the Appworld.
The game downloaded perfectly, but when i started to play the game, it started to act a bit weird.
When it came to the main menu for the game, my bb storm 2 went to a black screen, and the notification light turned red.
It proceeded to showing an hourglass shaking back and forth until my phone finally restarted.

Can anyone assist me with the problems i have ?

what os are you running as some have the open gl broken. if your running the latest os from verizon u will have to downgrade back to .713 or another os with open gl working for the game to work.

im on the latest os i would say. got this phone not to long ago, so it should be up to date.
do you think it would be worth downgrading, or should i stay where im at ?

RIM broke openGL so the game wont work. you are SOL unless you load an OS 607 or lower

I think only the 9550s have broken openGL on the latest builds. I got a free copy of this game(2 copies in fact.. but nevermind) from my carrier and it runs fine on my Storm 2 9520. Running build .741
