I inadvertently swiped on my first screen with widgets and now I have a huge square of a slightly dark shadow covering about 85% of the screen. Every page of widgets. Anyone know what this is and how to eliminate it? Thanks.

Do you have a pic? And if it's just a widget, long press on it and drag to the top where it says "remove" .

No it is like an overlay. Even when I removed the widget. I am attaching a photo screenshot. The huge shadow is the issue.

And I notice now that this shadow box involves the entire screen (ending above the bottom row of the four set widgets)

Wow, I figured it out. Ug. It's just part of the actual photo I've used as the wallpaper. Sorry! Too early in the morning I guess!!
