I recently switched from the Priv to a DTEK60. My ring volume is maxed out in the sound and notifications settings and on the volume key, but it's not nearly as loud as the Priv. Is there a setting I'm missing?

    Thanks.

Confused with the Maxxaudio app. What setting do you change in there to increase volume? Stereo or Revive?

Anyone else with this issue or know how to properly adjust the Waves Maxxaudio? My phone is at the point where the only way I know I have a message / call is from the vibration.

Is there a change the phone is faulty?

I downloaded a ring tone app and the rings were so loud k now have to turn the phone down. So try that and see how you get on.

Have you tried using .wav files?

If the 60's ring tone is the same as my Idol 4S, ( and I guess it will be) then they are all set to ascend and there is no way to change them to ring at full volume immediately.

The phone is set to go to voice mail too quickly before the tone can ascend.

To get over this, extend your ringing length. You can change it by going to the phone app and typing. *61*121*11*xx# where xx is the number of seconds you want it to ring. Then press call.

I've set mine to 30 seconds and problem is solved.

This information works in the UK. May vary elsewhere.

Did you ever get this sorted out? Not to brag, but last week in a meeting my 60 rang and i was told off because it was all loud. Even the wife has told me to turn it down. It's now set at half (50%).

Much appreciated. Only seems to work for up to 30 seconds

Thanks. 2 questions. What is the default length of time? Does this work in Canada?
