There's something to be said about those people who are always complaining.
They are just a handful who don't know how to enjoy what they have and would rather complain about what they don't and never will have.
Those threads stand out because everyone else is out and about enjoying what they have and don't have time for mostly useless complaints!
Personally, I'm just always happy.
It's my hope that you won't get many if any posts past me which should make you very happy.
Well that kind of makes sense.
But, fear not.... there ARE many threads that were filled with very happy DTEK people.
If you go back to just when the 60 was released to market , you'll find they've come and gone.
With each new device the happy people come and share and learn a few things and go out happy not needing to be around complainer.
We remain very aware of the DTEK, so you can go and enjoy it knowing we're here if you need us.
We could use a few helper to blow up some balloons to bring out the next in a great line of Blackberrys The Mercury!!
After leaving BB for IOS (due to multiple business users to manage) I turned to Dark side since Torch. Having recently decided to switch back to BlackDroid, I have to say I am in love again. The security, options and interface is great. Takes awhile to get used to Android, but worth the effort in my opinion. DTek 60 for 3 months and don't see returning. Can't wait until Mercury. I do miss the PKB.
Question from a Dtek50 user here :
I got the 50 to learn android. For me it has been a pretty big learning curve after BB10, but I'm getting it!! LOL
My question is, is the Dtek60 much bigger and heavier? I would love to upgrade to the better camera and battery, but am comfortable with the size and weight of the 50.
I have had the Dtek60 for several months and have few complaints and those that I have are related to beta versions of the OS and not the device. I also have an iPhone 7plus which I like a lot but keep coming back to the Dtek60. The speed of the two devices is comparable and with the Blackberry modification of the Android OS the operation of the device is much more efficient and comfortable. Truly have no complaints.
I use my dtek60 all the time I got it on black Friday with the bundle I really enjoyed my dtek60 I get the performance is awesome. I also have a At&t passport and other devices this dtek60 is my 6th BlackBerry device I since 2009 I really don't have anything to complain about other thin blackberry should of made a android version of the bb10 file manager.. But I found one that works just fine I'm really glad I got this even though the mercury is launching tomorrow
The forum was full of happy dtek60 owners and still is. I think the comments now are help on how to do things and fix things. I love my phone, went from a passport to this. Android is the best blackberry could have done in this day and age after all that's happened to them
Is it better than the priv and worth getting now? I am about to buy one tomorrow?

It performs better than the Priv. I had no clue a few weeks ago, I hadn't paid any attention. Once I started to read around the forums I was surprised to learn that it was more powerful. My intention was to wait on the "Mercury" but the deeper I poked around it became obvious that the Dtek60 was an upgrade to the Priv. So I bought one.
Wow! The difference is staggering. It's fast and smooth. No lag, stutter, nor heat issues. In my opinion the Dtek60 is killing the Priv. And this is coming from a keyboard die-hard.
