What a pos to add - enrollment did not work.

Often can't begin. Once was 90% done and quit.

The way I handle and use, two hands with phone in left and want to use left Index on finger reader. Only can rarely get it to.

And no the finger is clean, no dirt oil or something.

Recognition is - to me - the weakest part of this phone. And why I am blown away at how fast reliable and easy to use on the Huawei Mate 9.

    * This became my backup

Just me? Others okay with it?

Have had zero issues with it at all. In fact, have never even really thought about it after it was set up.

Was this the very first finger you were adding or the first time you tried adding it?

I only used the DTEK60 for a few days, but during that time, the finger print sensor seemed to be fairly quick and accurate for me.

Have you experienced this issue before on other phones? If you can rule out a hardware issue, it might be your finger (not joking/trying to be sarcastic).

I registered 2, left and right index finger, so It doesn't
matter which hand I pick up the phone with . Both work fine.

Same here. Exactly. Set up was easy. Continued use easy.

It's either you have defective fingers or defective fingerprint sensors. Since the latter is easier to part with, I suggest you try sending it back for repair or replacement.

Are you trying to enroll both fingers together? Do it one finger at a time.

Even after adding L / index again, it is more miss than bit. Even reset the phone and started from scratch.

It at least seems like the "finger 1" is treated differently and more likely to be recognized.
But right now I have a cut and have to use another finger.

Never trouble like this with prior phones, S6 and S7, which of course improved with hardware. Same experience going from 5S to 6S Plus. But Huawei Mate 9 tops.

Just seemed like something seriously wrong. And of course have to rule out case it is in.

I'm sitting here watching battery go down 24% in two hours which is the real killer.
