BlackBerry DTEK50, which it bills as "the world's most secure Android smartphone" today.

Doesn't love up to hype. Don't expect that to change. There's more in article and Google search

I would rather a company like BlackBerry review risks over and above Google. So dtek for me. I would feel more comfortable.

My experience with BlackBerry and their security updates has been stellar! Android Central, who has had much more experience with Android device updates, have listed the Nexus and Priv ( last year's article). As one and one A.

What he's basically saying is that everything that BlackBerry is doing on the DTEK50 has been done before and some others are doing now, but what he's failing to say is that they are doing everything together. What that means is that it is as secure as a Nexus or other Google device, or any other company committed to security and because of that they are the equal to or better than these others. So to sum it up, they are the most secure of all Android phones. As in, if you tie for first, you're still first.
    BB-JAM215, z3user and Bay 13 like this.

Google can't win in security even though they're creator of android. Google needs to step up their game

Awesome was leaning towards the s7 edge, and now there's reports of there batteries catching fire wtha, so I'm definitely going to get the DTEK60, and enjoy it for the next 2 years that's all no more jumping ship.
