    Boooo,

That's exactly the same as it is on every other device. Up to 16 MP there's unlimited photo storage for everyone. The reason why you always get unlimited photo storage with the Pixie is just that it comes with such a lame camera with only twelve MP.

Look up the size of each pixel for the 12MP camera. There's a reason Samsung apple and Google all chose cameras of that megapixel count.

Exactly, don't get how people are ok with relying on cloud storage... But I guess we all have different priorities.

Will be interesting to see, if and when, the 60 launches, whether it will be regularly included with other top shelf phones, or just get lumped into the "other" category.

Edgeless thing would be enough for me to NOT get it. I'm already having trouble with the curved edges on my Priv activating unintentionally. Why does people not understand a bezel is needed for grip?

Well I have a priv too and I am pretty comfortable with it. Guess it differs from person to person.

I have the HTC 10 and have really been enjoying it, the only issue I have is I wish I was a little bigger, which the DTEK60 and Pixel XL have. If having the best audio and having a tough phone is most important HTC 10, if having the best camera is important and Google Assistant Pixel if you love BlackBerry and want a phone that can keep up with current flagships DTEK60.

Well Bla1ze said that the audio level was on par with the passport on the BBflow podcast. Dxomark gave dtek60 a 82 (same as the priv). The screen is a QHD screen, it has fingerprint sensor. By looking at these for 499 $ the DTEK is the way to go for anyone interested in all touch devices.

Why the DTEK60 of course. Can't beat that price for those specs. Pixel XL looks like an iPhone anyway.

The title clearly states PIXEL XL....which has a much bigger battery and the same resolution. So no, you are incorrect on your statement still
They are not even the same form factor, Pixel XL is a cheat comparison because it's much much more expensive and beyond the average screen size. Best to compare the Pixel XL with Galaxy Note and Apple iPhone Plus, not DTEK60.

how are the not the same form factor!?! they are the same damn screen size, within a millimeter in size and 3 grams in weight. How the heck is that a "cheat comparison" when talking about form factor and size

I went with Dtek60 to replace my Note 7 (rip). Though am waiting for it to arrive.

Pixel is really nice, but annoyed that there's no one-year trade in program, which is what I'd want on a phone model that's unproven and pricey. I imagine Pixel 2 will be more competitive.

But right now, it's strange that there's an Android phone that costs the same as an iPhone, but has FEWER features

Because Google is trying to FORCE you onto their cloud service exactly as does Apple.

I think you could say that the Pixels have different features -- not necessarily less. Or perhaps say that "it has fewer features that are important to me". Remember the old adage "different strokes for different folks"?

The unlimited original-quality photo storage can be a huge feature to some. So could the advanced, system-wide Google Assistant.
