I so far loved my DTEK60. There is a small issue related to the power key or screen lock key. It is actually far from reach. I wish it was the convenience key itself. This is the perfect place for that key just like where all major smartphone manufacturers placed the power key (HTC10 or iPhone7).
However, I tried to assign a similar function to this convenience key, and I finally found the lock screen shortcut. It works and locks the screen when pressed, but the problem is when I try to unlock my phone by regularly placing my index finger over the scanner, the phone asks me to insert my password or pin as "additional security".

Is there any way to assign the convenience key as screen lock key and use it in a normal way?
    Thank you!

Go setting and uninstall password to have no other security than fingerprint.

Wait... can anyone else confirm this? You have to use fingerprint and pasword? Or did I read that wrong?!

You don't have to use fingerprint at all if you don't want too, I haven't even bothered setting it up.. And I use the convent key for the light...

This happened only when you assign the convenience key for looking screen.

I find it easier to just double tap in the screen to lock/unlock the phone. I don't use the convenience key switch to enable do not disturb mode, so I don't get distracted when at work.

PS. I'm using a DTEK50 at the moment, but I both phones share a similar design.

Agreed.I double tap to wake and when on the home screen you can double tap to lock. Works like a charm. Should solve the lock/unlock reachability issues.
