Since there's so much positivity around here on the DTEK60, thought I'd start up a case thread to help our members find the best cases available for the DTEK60. Do you have a case on your DTEK60? I am using the Incipio DualPro made for the Alcatel Idol 4s. It fits perfectly with one exception. The cutout on the back is made for a camera housing with a square housing versus the circular housing on the DTEK60. Fortunately, the length of the sides of the square are longer than the diameter of the circular camera housing on the DTEK60 so it fits fine. Just looks like a squircle! Incipio is making one for the DTEK60 but not available yet.

Dont use the original DTEK60 soft shell case. The camera is not covered and the phone lies down on it all the time, already got it scratched. Senseless case.

I see a lot of people using Idol 4s cases due to it being the same chassis as the Dtek60. Has anyone found a wallet / folio style case that has card slots in the front flap that fits properly. Anything I have found so far has the fingerprint scanner covered !?! similar to the one in this link.

The squircle is there on the back, with corners visible around the round camera lens. If this doesn't bother you, great, but I feel a bit insulted by them claiming it's a case for the DTEK60. If it was, they would have molded a circle for the camera, not kept the squircle.

Anyone have the Genuine Leather Smart Flip Case, reviews?

Just ordered phone and looking for a sturdy but light case in Canada, not a big fan of flip cases. Disappointed in comments above which indicate the soft shell doesn't protect camera

I have the flip case as it came with my bundle. Not a fan of flip cases but does work pretty good. Quality not bad either. I did order the incipio but could see using both over time.

I've had the bundled soft shell case on since day one and I'm not the slightest concerned about the camera being damaged. It protrudes slightly by I'm guessing here, a 1/10 of a mm but then so have many other previous devices that I've owned and it's never been an issue. The case feels really nice and provides excellent tactile feedback on the buttons.

Thanks blackburberry, appreciate the feedback. I was worried I'd need a new case right away after taking delivery. Can't wait, reviews have been fantastic and for the price there is no better phone that can be purchased, not to mentioned the priceless BlackBerry security and software.

I damaged my phone because i believed in it ;-) Now i am doing fine with the Incipio case.

They both feel the same. Only that the Incipio is a little bit thicker at the edges. Both are much less slippery than the Phone without case.
