    I'd bet that you've put custom ringtones in a folder on your mSD card, then selected them? The custom tones have to go into the Notifications and Ringtones folders on internal storage. Then, your selections will remain after a reboot.

    The only way of selecting them in the folder that appears when selecting ringtones etc is to have them in the default internal folder. They're in there - just that everything defaults to factory on restart.

    Having the tones on the mSD will cause the same issue. Apparently there is something else as well. Sorry, it looked like the same issue I had.
