    My phone was plugged in charging when I doubled tapped to check something. Went away and then noticed screen was still on. Waited some more time and still didn't turn off. Checked sleep setting which was set to 1 min. Changed to 15 secs but still didn't turn off. Power cycled and now sleep working properly. Weird.

    Good thing it was your phone that stopped sleeping and not you!!!

    On a serious note, sometimes electronics just need a reboot. It happens
