No matter what it's going to lag. It's android. That's just what it does. I'm sure it won't be unbearable though.

Most reviewers seem to be happy with the 617 in the Moto G4. But it's not good for demanding games. Will have to wait and see how it performs with Blackberry's apps and launcher.

Aside from games, I'm sure Android will run fine. Android runs fine in my ancient 2013 Nexus 7!

The Nexus 6P doesn't lag at all, no matter what you throw at it. And that's a phone that is the definition of Android..

yeah, im curious to how it would handle either ingress or pogo....

Not so much different in terms of daily usage, but I find it bad when it comes to game. The 617 is laggy playing dream league soccer 2016 (alcatel idol 4). When the 808 does it smoother (LG G4), eventhough not as smooth as it is on my iphone 6s.

I don't have priv and dtek 50 to test.


Previously I hope that this dtek 50 comes with snapdragon 652, because qualcomm did say that this chip performs better than the 808.

The 808 is supposed to be a high-end chip while the 617 is a mid to low-end chip.. The 617 is 11 months old.. But the 808 is out since a while, released on April/2014.

It's never good idea to compare CPU's using only number of cores and core frequency. It's like comparing car engines using only cylinder count and redline.

My BlackBerry Priv don't lag at all, it's the smoothest phone out of all the phones I've owned or used before. I've had the iPhone 6, Samsung S6,S7 and my Priv is still the smoothest and I have 16 BlackBerry Phones and I prefer the Priv over them all.

From BlackBerryZ10 🔟� Passport or Priv, whichever I want to use that day.
