    All SMS received , always are like not read although have been opened and closed and SMS are in black.

    I'm experiencing this too. I keep selecting the conversation and mark it as read but it's takes several tries to actually make it marked as read.

    YES!! Me too!! So I accidentally swiped an sms from the Hub 'cos of that, and have lost 2 sms threads aak!!

    Same here. In hub they show as not opened. In the regular sms file they show fine

    Going by other device threads the unread text message glitch is affecting all BB Android devices, not just DTEK50.

    For those concerned about DTEK50's poor cousin status, this likely means the glitch will be fixed for everyone in short order.

    Not sure why BB is dragging their feet and not putting out their own messaging app. Or better yet integrate it directly into the hub.

    Big thumb syndrome? Accidentally hit the garbage icon instead of the 3 vertical dots to mark message as read?

    Not really. In my old Hub, when I deleted an SMS from there, it didn't get deleted in the "Messenger" so I got used to that.
    It's annoying to see SMS messages in the Hub appear unread, especially being in gray mode, so I swiped to delete instinctively.
    P.S.
    I never got used to typing with my thumb on these darn vkbs, so I use my index finger a lot instead huhuhu

    Good news! It appears that the latest Messenger update fixed this issue in Hub. Glad to see that read texts are no longer showing up unread. Go team BlackBerry!
