Nice, when would that be?
I got the Dtek50 just to learn Android. At first I struggled after being so comfortable with the Z30, but it has been growing on me and I quite like it.
My plan was to upgrade to Dtek60 if I liked Android, but this phone is quite good as it is, and I'm not sure I NEED a bigger phone.
As far as Picture Password goes, I loved it on the Z30 and was disappointed that the Dtek50 didn't have it. After 3 months I have completely forgotten about it and don't miss it.
I do wish it had more internal memory and a better battery, but for now I can relax and see what comes down the road.
If it's an investment you're looking for, don't buy something that eventually depreciates in value.
However, if you are looking for a good value at a sensible price, in today's smartphone market, then give serious consideration to a DTEK50.
I have two of them, and both work flawlessly, each works on two separate carriers at different times, and handles a fairly demanding workload doing the work I require.
When these need replacement, and if the next generation of Blackberry smartphones provide the same value, performance and reliability at a similar price point, I would buy it.
Price is what you pay...value is what you get..(Warren Buffett )
I am doing it.
And I happy about the light weight and the textured back case.
Overheat issue on Priv solved.
The only thing I missed is the slightly better back camera. I have get used to the virtual KB when I use Priv, so dun miss the physical KB too.
Front camera of Dtek50 are better than priv too.
