Yesterday I received back my Dtek 50 with brand new OEM replacement LCD unit.
Firstly it is identical to the Alcatel Idol 4 screen. In fact when the Dtek 50 was opened it said Alcatel inside.
These LCD units have been a long time coming and are being charged by most at some absurd rate. Blackberry quoted me 200.00+ for them to replace mine, plus 4-6 weeks lead time.
Other companies in the UK have the nerve to charge 180.00. The company i have always used for my Blackberry repairs obver the years, looked into this and have brought in proper OEM LCD units with serial numbers and charge 60.00.
They offer a 24hour service or you can drop in and they'll repair whilst you wait.
