On Shop BlackBerry, it's $300 US (20k INR) and $430 Canadian (22k INR), so I'm guessing in that band.

Somehow they hike up the price too much. Priv was over $1000 (₹63K)

The price in India has to be around 10k-15k INR. If it goes above 15K this phone will see the same future as PRIV i.e No sales in India & China.

I think in india the price of it will be 25/30K at its launch, right now the price is 299$ reorder and once the device is available the original price is 400CAD approx which is above 20K so including the custom charges and all the device will be above 25/30Grand Indian rupees at launch.

It will be a failure in India.

How would it be 15K, right now on pre order it's 299$ which is above 18K... there is no chance the price will be 25K+ when it's available in India.

I meant it has to be around 15k, anything beyond that and I don't see any sense in buying it.
Moto G4+ will be the actual competition which btw comes with touch lock. Its priced in India at 14990/-

If they go beyond this range its going to be the next PRIV i.e no sales in India and PRC, where actually they should be looking for maximum sales.

Samsung have better phones with better build quality in India they sell for 10 - 15k.I don't see any good reasons for BlackBerry to sell this phone above 18k.

If its above Rs20,000 it's a disaster for BlackBerry India.
Exact price of this phone should be around Rs14,999 but I know they will hike the price and launch it way above Rs.25,000.
Kindly don't forget BlackBerry India launch Priv for Rs.60,000+

If they are even about to hit the 20K price point, it will be very good. But I doubt they will be able to do that.
people saying it should be 15K. Sorry it's not going to happen. Doesn't matter what should happen, question is what will.
And it's definitely not going to be for 20K even forget 15k

Somehow blackberries tend to be 30-40% expensive when they reach India. The best launch price should be ₹19999. If they manage to price it in that range, BlackBerry would certainly have nailed it. Beyond 20000 there are a lot of flagships that the Dtek50 wouldn't like to take on. (especially the Oneplus 3)

If it price 20k is acceptable considering hub, Dtek, key board, calendar..etc, if more than that sorry, I am happy with my Z30 but I still doubt about the productivity as I can attach pdfs, image, attachments in a very simple and fast in my Z30

It will compete with Z30 phone price in a India and than Z30 will meet fate of BlackBerry classic. Again.. the phone will meet failure as v look for service too.. if there are no service centres plus if v need to search for accessories.. its a big No Go..

The success of this phone in India depends a lot on price. They just can't, rather shouldn't price it beyond 21,990
Because at 24-27K you have phones like the Mi5 and the 1+3. And the consumers will most definitely prefer those phone. More so given how the value of the brand has gone down in India.
