A better screen to show would be the screen on time. I always use that as a true measure of battery performance
Even that can vary wildly depending on what you're doing when the screen is on.

24% giving 11 hours remaining means you pretty much have the phone sitting unused for those 11 hours. On standby.

Hahah exactly. 100% correct. If the phone has lasted that long it simply hasn't been used. I always laugh when I see ridiculously long battery life claims on this forum.

Best phone I've ever owned, and for only $279 Canadian. No complaints about it, and none of the compromises I had to make with BB10 (which I loved)

Well obviously resell value isn't very good for BlackBerry phones. OP is trying to sell dtek50 that most of people never heard of. I also bought dtek50 and price dropped $100 few months later but that's how it is for all electronics.

After using my Passport for a long time I choose what about upgrade and look forward to Priv. But after using it for half a day I really had many questions about it. First of all about quality. And now I have my dtek50 and happy with it. Think its very goood phone for its price and nice steel and rubber to touch. So I think you will sell it sooner or later.

I'm with you Johnny on this. I'm more than happy with my dtek50. Battery life is good for what I need Attachment 417002
Dtek50 has really good battery life cycle if all annoying android apps that works in stand by take off. I have mine from 08am to 02am with hard Internet surf, mails and calls. You need to install OSmonitor app from market to watch about working apps.

Well I want one once my Z30 reaches end of life sometime in the next decade!
While I am a diehard bb10 lover at least the decision 50 means I can carry on my BlackBerry addiction.
I am surprised to see it at 400 + at Staples when it was sub 300 at Christmas. Sue it's worth it just surprised the mark down was so great. Should have jumped but my love affair with bb10 need to run a while longer.

Just FYI I just sold my Dtek50 on ebay for USD 195,- which is not too bad I think.
The first offers arrived just minutes after the auction started. In total, there were more than 25 bids. So I would not say that 'nobody wants a Dtek50'.

Ok I've let this thread roll on. In the meantime I've got a Galaxy S7Edge. Yes it's a step up from midrange dtek50. I've been on to mobile recycling sites and the most recent blackberry handsets on their lists is Z30. No offers of prices on PRIV or dtek50. I've had blackberrys for over 10 years. The fact that android blackberrys aren't even on the recycling lists demonstrates to me that there is no interest in them. Personally I was disappointed in the dtek50 which I hoped would be blackberry's road back. It's not going to happen. Sadly it's Goodbye BlackBerry. Thanks for the great experience but the ride 's over. Conite you're wasting valuable typing time!!

Had a dtek50 for a few months, no issues at all with it. Sold it in a October as it was filler until I got my dtek60.

    Great little device

Maybe there are none on the list because people LIKE them and don't want to sell them?
