Anyone heard any updates when or if we're getting the DTEK downunder?

Good question! The cheapest way to buy it is still from clove or unlockedmobiles and they include the free battery pack. (the UK/Europe version is same as AU)

Don't even think about the non BlackBerry affiliated shop called bbstore here in Sydney. You will find all the sad stories about them here on cb as well as on whirlpool.

From memory one of the Voda bands is not found in the model for AU. So Voda's not going to carry this phone.

Wow, you were able to contact Blackberry!?!? How did you go about that?

Good to hear that Optus is going to stock it, I wonder if they'll have an outright price, or just a plan.

I'm with Optus and would dearly like the Priv, but the $67 plan sucks, only 1GB data and I'm currently on a sim only 10GB plan (12mths) for $40 month. I've tried really hard to get them to to upgrade my existing Plan 1GB data to at least 3GB (+150 int'l minutes, which is half of the 300 I currently get), but they can't see that it's a win/win situation. Oh well ......

Heavens1, Hopefully Optus will see sense and change the plan. Makes you wonder how sales people think sometimes
